Emergency Vet Services coming to Nexus in Spring 2019

On November 8th, the Veterinary Emergency Group received unanimous approval from the City of Newton Land Use Committee for their new location at Newton Nexus. The Veterinary Emergency Group is unique in that they will be providing emergency care when your pet’s primary veterinarian is out of the office. They will be opened evenings and weekends and will always be staffed with doctors who can discuss your pet’s situation directly with you, which is critical in the case of an emergency.

Examity Opens at Newton Nexus

Excerpt from Boston Business Journal
By Catherine Carlock – Real Estate Editor

Examity Inc., a company that procters tests online, has expanded its real estate footprint fivefold with a move to a 15,000-square-foot office in Newton — a facility that will allow the education technology company to nearly triple its workforce.

The office at 153 Needham St. was formerly the headquarters of travel website TripAdvisor Inc. (Nasdaq: TRIP), and has since been converted into a mixed-use development called Newton Nexus. Examity’s growth is driven by increased demand for secure online courses, particularly as online learning and testing become more popular in higher education, said Michael London, its founder and CEO.

“In an era where nearly one-third of all college students now take at least one course online, test integrity and security are central to the quality conversation in U.S. higher education,” London said via email. “Our expansion is a testament to our team’s relentless commitment to innovating in a way that ensures our solution is several steps ahead of the curve. Our application of AI and predictive analytics in online proctoring has transformed the field across higher education, professional certifications, and beyond.”
